One-day, hands-on AI training · Iowa

Skip the AI degree. Put AI to work in your business by tomorrow.

An 8-hour working day for owners, managers and office leaders. You'll connect AI to your own files, email and numbers, and leave with real work already done.

Not another prompting class

Most AI training stops where the useful part starts.

What most AI classes teach

  • Typing questions into a chat box
  • Writing a generic email or social post
  • Making pictures
  • A list of tools to try someday

What this day teaches

  • Giving AI access to your own folders and documents
  • Having it do the routine computer work you do every week
  • Using it as a thought partner on hard emails and decisions
  • Running your numbers and knowing when to trust the answer

Works inside your files

Folders, documents and spreadsheets, not copy-and-paste. Set up on your own laptop, working on your own material.

Thinks with you

Context-loaded AI that knows the job, the customer and the history, so a hard email pushes your agenda instead of sounding like a robot.

Checks its own work

Catch made-up details and know when to trust the output before it costs you.

The day

Eight hours. Real output.

You don't leave with notes. You leave with work already done on your own business, and the know-how to keep doing it.

  • Email, documents and spreadsheets eat a big part of your week
  • You want working tools, not theory

  • You've never opened an AI chat tool (start with a 1-on-1 session)
  • You can't bring a laptop you're allowed to install software on
Your instructor
Noah Carspecken, MBA
CFO & co-owner, Castor Construction
Fort Dodge, Iowa

An operator who uses this every day, not an AI academic.

Noah has spent 28 years in Iowa business. He's been CFO and co-owner of a concrete and underground utility contractor since 2018, and before that he was CEO and part owner of a fire, life-safety and security company. He holds an MBA in finance from Iowa State University.

He uses AI to run real operations: it reads company email and surfaces open requests, works through project documents, and runs the financial analysis behind business decisions. This class teaches the methods he actually uses, including where they break.

Before class

Show up set up.

Setup is done the week before, so the day is spent working, not troubleshooting.

  1. Bring a laptop you're allowed to install software on (Windows or Mac).
  2. Complete the setup checklist you'll get after registering. There's a 7:30 AM setup slot if you need help.
  3. Have used ChatGPT or Claude at least a few times.
  4. Optional: send anonymized documents or numbers ahead of time to work on your own business.
Questions

Fair questions.

Is my business data safe?

You choose what to bring. Class work runs on practice data or files you've anonymized, and we cover what's safe to connect to AI before connecting anything. Any data you send ahead is handled under a written data agreement.

Do I need to be technical?

No. You need to be comfortable on a computer and have used an AI chat tool a few times. Anything technical, like running a computer command, you'll do with AI explaining each step.

Which AI tools will we use?

Mainstream AI tools you can keep using after class, plus the setup that connects them to your own files. You get the exact list and setup steps when you register.

Why one full day instead of short sessions?

Because the value is in connecting AI to your real work, and that takes uninterrupted time. If you'd rather start smaller, book a 1-on-1 session.

Can you train my whole team?

Yes. Corporate training is private, on-site and built around your company's own documents. Request a quote.

What if I can't make the date?

One day. Your files, your email, your numbers.
